About Whitecourt

In 2006 Whitecourt was named the official Snowmobile capital

of Alberta by the Government of Canada.

Come experience unlimited miles of groomed and powdered

trails through forested lands, creeks, rivers and cut lines.

Whitecourt and the surrounding area have hundreds of

kilometers of designated trails for off highway vehicle use.

For those more adventurous, we challenge you to ride the 350

kilometer Golden Triangle Snowmobile Trail – you are assured

an exhilarating ride!

Whitecourt is one of the few communities that permits residents

to operate off highway vehicles within town. There are tens of

kilometers of designated off highway vehicle trails that travel

throughout the community and lead to an extensive trail system

beyond Town limits.
